Alec Baldwin got fired from his brand new MSNBC show and it is my LOL of the day because really, Alec Baldwin is a dick. His homophobic rants got him suspended but now the network is saying, “Nah, let’s just get rid of this dude before things get worse.” That wasn’t an official statement, so here’s one from TMZ, plus some more info:
A rep for MSNBC called the firing “a mutual parting” [“Mutual” — another LOL!] … adding, “We wish Alec all the best.”
[…] After the actor went on ANOTHER homophobic tirade earlier this month, the news network has finally decided to cut bait on Baldwin, who hosted the poorly-rated weekly show, “Up Late with Alec Baldwin.”
Sources close to the firing say the decision to axe Alec was based, in part, on his recent homophobic outbursts … when he called a photog a “cocksucking f-g.”
Hey, that’s okay, he’s still got his incredible Capital One commercials that air on Netflix every other goddamn commercial break.
And MSNBC is fine since they have Mia Farrow and most likely Frank Sinatra’s son hosting his own show.
I’ll bet he got gassed via a text message there is no way anyone would give this loon bad news in person. This is great news he deserved to get fired BUT did anyone check to see if this paparazzi guy was infact a cocksucker? Just say maybe Baldwin knows something the rest of us don’t.
