Kate Hudson – unlikely friend to Lea Michele and an actress whose best role will always be Almost Famous in my mind – has revealed something perhaps slightly unexpected for a celebrity: she can’t afford designer dresses. Say whaaaat? I mean, it’s not actually what you think – it’s that she CHOOSES to spend her money more wisely and invest it in her kids rather than on an outfit she’ll wear once for a few hours and never touch again.
From Harper’s Bazaar:
“People think we own all these dresses, but we borrow them! I can’t afford to buy that stuff. There are certain things I splurge on, but it’s very rare, especially when you have two kids and school tuition.”
“I’m not a big high-end fashion shopper. I wish I could, but the truth is, things are just so expensive. Before [designer] Isabel Marant was a million dollars and famous, I used to go to her store in Paris and go crazy, it was so affordable.”
I kinda find it endearing that she doesn’t waste her money like that and instead decides to put shit towards her kids, like an actual caring parent and not some Hollywood celeb. I do think she could afford to buy some designer stuff, mind, and that she’s probably given stuff semi-often. I mean, you saw how much designer shit even North West got for free when she was born!
Boo frickin hoo. what moron would buy shit they get for free? AND that whole bit about her investing in her kids and their tuition Cry me a River. She is a millionare actress her men are rock stars I doubt she is doin any sacrificing for her kids.
