Cher is an absolute killer. She’s 67 years old and thanks to the miracle of plastic surgery, doesn’t look a day over 35. Plus, she’s still knocking out some amazing tunes, like her new single ‘Woman’s World’. I mean, I wouldn’t listen to it regularly or buy it or anything, but it’s great, campy fun and now there’s a music video for it! (Plus, isn’t anything better than that awful song with GaGa?)
‘Woman’s World’ won’t be released until October 13, and it’s from her 26th studio album, Closer to the Truth. TWENTY-SIX albums! That’s pretty amazing. Here’s what she had to say about the album (via DS):
“It’s about being fabulous. Truthfully, I’m not a huge Cher fan and I’ve said this many times, but I think this is the best album I’ve ever done.
“The songs are so brilliant. I got so lucky. The closest thing to this album I think is the Believe album.”
I don’t think anything can beat ‘Believe’, so that remains to be seen, but this is awesome.
Ha it’ll be released on my birthday! Also, I really like it too, sounds good for a night out.
