Yeah, she’s in her 40s and has had no work done. Anorexia does age the skin but guess what, we get old. I’m not hating on her. Never liked her but not going to get on her because she actually looks her age.
i think what it really boils down to is that she doesn’t botox the hell out of her face, and get all kinds of crazy surgery. We have all been conditioned to look at famous women or women in the public eye a LOT differently because of the so called miracles of botox and plastic surgery.
To me, she looks like an AVERAGE 40-something year old beautiful woman. i mean, how old is Nicole Kidman?? probably close, but we all know she injects all kinds of shit in her face, thats why she looks different from Calista.
We are seeing photos of 70-something year olds with smooth faces because of all the unnatural measures these poor women take to try to find the fountain of youth.
i say, Way to Go Calista!! for setting a different standard.

Amen to what said Meike. This is what a NORMAL 43 year old looks like facially, and more power to her for not getting surgery or botox.
That is absolutely NOT what a 43 year old woman should look like. I agree that it was probably the anorexia…did she smoke as well? God knows that can age the body terribly. My mother is 53 and has nowhere near the amount of eye wrinkles poor Calista does…sad.
I could only dream of looking that good at 43 without any makeup!

I agree with BLA. I have seen 50+ year olds look younger than her and it isn’t surgery, and obviously everyone I compare the world to isn’t Hollywood. Obviously she hasn’t taken care of herself.

Calista is a very beautiful woman. She knows it , and does not worry about it. Every year, (for about ten years, now) she gains another pound. When she is 60, she might have to start watching her diet.
Ernestine – yes! A little weight really does help. My mom is 51 and she hardly has any wrinkles. And she lives in a small town in Northwestern Ontario – there is no chance she’s had botox! I hope I got her genes! And you know what – most of my mom’s friends are closer to 60 and they look just slightly older than Calista. So, my verdict is anorexia makes you look old.
