Well something off the hook is probably about to happen, since the rumor mill has headed into maximum overdrive, since Rob’s lately been “ogling Katy Perry’s boobs over intimate dinners,” “having torrid sex with Rihanna,” and now “meeting up with Kristen Stewart to begin the process of reconciliation.” I, like you, have no idea which of these three (if any) are actually true, but I’m hoping for the last one where Rob maybe forgives Kristen and starts vampire life anew, because that just seems to make the most sense to me.
Sources close to the estranged couple claim that there have recently been several phone conversations between Rob and Kristen, and Rob is allegedly about to put his heartbreak on the back burner in order to reconcile the couple’s broken relationship.
From the Times:
… Friends say he [Robert] now believes her [Kristen’s] infidelity was just a “moment of stupidity” and he [sic] keen for a face-to-face meeting to try and repair their three-year relationship.
A source said: “They talked [on the phone] for about an hour – it was very emotional … Kristen begged to meet face-to-face so they could talk. It was obvious she was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her. Even though she made a horrendous mistake, Rob can’t just switch off his feelings. He was madly in love with her and I think believes that it was a moment of stupidity, not a long, drawn-out affair and it’d never happen again. In Rob’s eyes, Kristen was seduced and she’s clearly not just sorry but completely destroyed by what she’s done.”
However, if the Cosmopolis star does agree to making another go of their relationship, he wants to establish some “ground rules”.
The source continued to LOOK magazine: “If Rob decides to take her back, he’ll have some ground rules. Kristen would have to spend more time in his hometown of London. He also would want them to adopt the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt way of working – where they take it in turns to do a film so they can be around for time together.”
Think it’s true? I, for one, hope so. They may not be the cleanest, most stable and established couple Hollywood, but I’m sorry. Robert taking Kristen back is just a way, way better alternative than even considering the possibility of Robert hooking up with Rihanna, Hollywood’s most unstable celebrity (aside from Lindsay Lohan, of course).
I’m more for whatever makes Rob feel better or good than for making a point by continuing to vilify Kristen. Yes, she screwed up and yes, once a cheater, always a cheater. I have no doubt about that but if it’ll make Rob feel better to be with her until she cheats again and then if it makes Rob feel better to leave her, that’s fine too. As crazy as it sounds, in the messed up world of ‘feelings’, you’ve got to follow your heart until your heart catches up with your head and then you can break up with whoever is not good for you for good. So what I’m saying is, Rob, make your mistake if it makes things better but when it happens again, leave her for good.
There have been a LOT of stories about these two on the gossip websites, always in much detail on what was going on in both camps, how they were feeling, what they were doing etc… Who is telling these stories? I have yet to be convinced the entire relationship was not a publicity stunt and now the contract is up with the last movie.
@Pique: I said this on another website: I keep wondering how they know what KS and RP feel, eat when they are sad, what they talk about on the phone, where they are gonna meet etc etc.
Only proves to me those stories are fake as hell. As soon as I read ‘the talked on the phone for hours, both sad and blablabla’ I am like ‘Bitch please, how do u know?’
It’s probably some people making up crazy stories to keep getting the headlines/more hits on their websites/more advertisers/more money.
Highly doubt anyone knows what’s going on between these two,besides RP and KS themselves. They both don’t seem like talkers, probably not even with friends.

I do not know what to say…I am not a huge fan, but Robert seemed different from most people from Hollywood, he seemed more real…I agree that he should forgive her, because you cannot be mad at someone your whole life, but from what I understand he stated in an interview (in April?) that he does not condone cheating…If they get back together then I will consider him a liar..If they do get back together I am almost certain that they will either break up again soon or getting married. In my opinion, he should stay single for a while, try to move on( not by moving on someone else), he should rediscover himself without her in his life and if after some time he still feels that she is the one then yes, he should get back together with Kristen (if they were together in the first place – but there is a great chance they were since he is not that good of an actor and in the Twilight movies you can see very clear that “Edward” loves “Bella” by the way he looks at her…)
If they reconcile before the last Twilight movie comes out, I will definitely be entertaining the idea that this whole relationship/ cheating/ reconciliation is one of the largest PR stunts ever to help boost a movie EVER. I’m no one to believe celebrity PR conspiracy theories but even if the relationship started sincerely, why would she cheat on him so openly when they two of them tend to be such private people? Then they reconcile a few months before the last volume of the Twilight movie franchise?

It’s funny to read this 4 years later. Rihanna is on top, a superstar, with worldwide respect, and she’s been dating Leo DiCaprio. Not too shabby to see her with an Oscar winner.
Kristen Stewart on the other hand has shown herself for who she is, a serial cheater. She cheated on her girlfriend Alicia Cargile with French model Agathe Mougin, then cheated on Agathe with Soko and cheated on Soko with Alicia again. She’s like a revolving door cheater. The minute one of them leaves her house, she screws another one.
Rob forgave her but he’s so much better having avoided her for the past 3 years. She proved she couldn’t be trusted and he finally realized who she really was and cut her out of his life for good. Love him with Twigs, they’re the cutest.
