Last month we learned that Paramount+ was rebooting the much beloved ‘Fraiser’ starring Kelsey Grammer. But with none of the original cast returning with him, it seemed destined to fail. That just got a little less likely.
Peri Gilpin who played the sassy producer Roz on the Fraiser Crane radio show has signed to join her old boss in the retooled ‘Fraiser’.
Filming officially began in Los Angeles in February, with James Burrows directing the first two episodes.
The show follows Dr Fraiser Crane as he embarks on the next chapter of his life. In the upcoming revival, Frasier returns to Boston, Massachusetts, with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Among the new cast members are Jack Cutmore-Scott, who plays Frasier’s son, Freddy.
