Kathy Griffin was once a pretty beloved comedian who had a slip up when she held up a pretend beheaded Donald Trump for a photo and people went a little nuts. Even someone as gross as Donald… its a little too much with the beheading.
But on Kimmel last night Kathy discuss the drastic change in her voice. It’s softer and more high pitch. It almost sounds cartoony. (see clip at end of article)
The voice change comes after she was diagnosed with lung cancer and had one half of one lung cut out. The move saved her life, but changed her voice, drastically.
She told the crowd at Kimmel; “So last time I was here — just really quickly — I had lung cancer, they took out half my left lung, and so my voice got some damage,” said Griffin, 61.
She joked in addition, “I am fine, it doesn’t hurt, and the important thing is my boobs are still fabulous.”
