AMC has decided this will be the last (the sixth) season of Better Call Saul, wrapping up the much beloved series that follows Odenkirk as an unscrupulous lawyer.
But Bob isn’t going anywhere. He’s not even leaving AMC!
He’ll be starring in a series adaptation of Richard Russo’s novel Straight Man with Odenkirk set to star as William Henry Devereaux, Jr., the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in the Pennsylvania rust belt.
Assuming the network likes what gets produced they’ll be aiming to release in early 2023.
