First text message ever sent sells at auction

Finally, an NFT worth the money! It’s a pretty significant piece of technological history that’s certain to go up in value.

Paris was the scene yesterday where the very first text message ever sent was auctioned off as a non fungible token.

The text, which was sent on Dec. 3, 1992, was put up for auction by the British telecoms company Vodafone.   The message simply read “Merry Christmas”.

The winning big was $121,000.

It’s actually illegal to sell NFT’s in Paris, so at the time the buyer received the text message in a digital frame, displaying the code and communication protocol.

What a world we live in.
