Unbeknownst to most of us, Chris Noth has a pretty lucrative deal brewing with some investors to boost his tequila line.
Despite the fact that the world does NOT need another celebrity tequila line for all kinds of reasons, some investors agreed to put up $12,000,000 to hype the brand called Ambhar
But then a handful of women came forward accusing the actor of sexual assault and straight up rape. It should be noted that the LAPD currently has no plans to arrest Noth because of lack of evidence. And Noth himself vehemently denies any of it happening.
Naturally when Noths investors caught wind of the assault claims the shut that shit down fast.
“At this point in time it doesn’t make sense for us to move forward with this deal in light of the claims, which must be taken with the utmost seriousness,” said Bernard Rubin, CEO of EARI, the company fronting the money. “That said, we continue to be on the lookout for spirits brands that fit EARI’s ethos of social responsibility.”
