I love Jeopardy yadda yadda yadaa… What in the hell are they planning over there with this never ending list of guest host being brought in to test for a hosting spot that really belongs to Ken Jennings?
It’s been announced that a rather large group of hosts are joining the line up. I have repeatedly denounced the idea of a celebrity taking the place of Alex Trebek because the show will then become about them. Which should be the last thing that takes focus.
I also think the person should be a legit genius, which some of these guest hosts are. My assumption is the year will be filled with guest hosts with a permanent host chosen for next season. But don’t hold me to that.
- Katie Couric – News woman, bubbly, nothing special
- Aaron Rodgers – A freaking football player
- Bill Whitaker – Journalist I can’t speak on b/c I don’t know him
- Mayim Bialik – Actress and legit brain scientist. Certainly smart enough
- Mike Richards – Executive producer of Jeopardy. I guess at least no one knows him.
- Anderson Cooper – Ok, I have a major hard on for AC, but no. Too famous.
- Dr. Mehmet Oz – Charlatan. Disgraced medicine man who uses his fame to sell junk science and med.
- Savannah Guthrie – Again, I love you, but no. And you’re too busy already.
- Dr. Sanjay Gupta – CNN’s medicine correspondent is maaaaybe all I can handle on this list.
So there you have it and do with it what you will. I’m tired. TEAM KEN FOREVER!!!!!!
