Dylan Farrow’s scathing response to Woody Allen’s memoir

Dylan Farrow with her mother Mia Farrow

Wow.  No love loss in the Farrow/Allen home.  Not that we weren’t all acutely aware of that for some time now.

Woody Allen’s daughter, Dylan, has responded to the Hachette Book Group’s announcement they will be publishing her estranged father’s memoir this spring.

Typing on her phones notepad and then posting it to twitter, Dylan said it was an utter betrayal of her and her brother, Ronan Farrow.  Ronan, you recall, wrote the articles for The New Yorker exposing the sexual harassment of men like Harvey Weinstein and Les Moonves.

She also states she was never contacted by any fact checkers to “verify the information in this ‘memoir’” but that her allegation of molestation at the hands of her father has “undergone endless scrutiny and has never been published without extensive fact checking.” “This provides yet another example of the profound privilege that power, money, and notoriety affords,” she wrote.

Here’s the whole note. Powerful.
