Public Enemy Performs at Bernie Rally without Flav

I was impressed last week when I heard Bernie Sanders was going to have Public Enemy at his LA Rally yesterday. Then I heard that they weren’t and that Flavor Flav was furious at Bernie for using the bands “unauthorized likeness, image, and trademarked clock” to promote the rally.  But it happened anyway.

Chuck D, another member of Public Enemy, who has been in full support of Sanders, led the crusade. He ended up performing at the rally along with members of Public Enemy Radio that includes J Lord, Jahi, and the S1Ws. This all went down at the Los Angeles Convention Center. D performed the group’s hit records such as “Fight the Power,” “Can’t Truss It,” “Bring the Noise,” and “Shut ’Em Down.”

It was baller.
