So here’s the story. Pete Davidson. The goofy looking dude from SNL that has dated a host of beautiful women (Kaia Gerber, Arianna Grande, Kate Beckensale) wants to leave his gig on the hit tv, apparently because the cast resents him.
But they don’t resent his cache of babes, they resent the special treatment he seems to get from Lorne, the shows creator.
Davidson got time off to shoot the “Suicide Squad” sequel in Atlanta and was also allowed to skip the show for pal Ricky Velez’s wedding. Lorne, “gave him the week off to go,” said an insider, adding that that is “unheard of.”
Plus, we’re told, Davidson doesn’t play a big role in the writers’ room. “Pete has a pretty cushy gig, to say the least,” said a source. “The cast isn’t into him,” said another. “He’s just there — he doesn’t add much.”
He had been questioned on whether he asks fellow star Adam Sandler for advice about when to leave SNL, to which he replied: ‘I personally think I should be done with that show because they make fun of me on it.’
Calling the environment ‘cutthroat’, Pete added: ‘Everyone is trying to be the next big thing. Like you’re not going to get coddled over there. You know, they don’t give a f*** at the end of the day.
‘They think I’m f***ing dumb. I’m literally painted out to be this big dumb idiot.’
