I am a huge Breakfast Club fan, so I was really happy to see miss Angela get her dues!
“The Breakfast Club” co-host Angela Yee is to be named an ambassador for the New York Public Library on Tuesday evening, Page Six is told.
Yee, who hosts the hit syndicated show with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, will be anointed by Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chirlane McCray at their annual West Indian-American and Caribbean-American Heritage celebration at Gracie Mansion.
Brooklyn-born Yee is a lifelong library user, and library president Anthony W. Marx called her an “advocate for wonderful causes near to her heart.” He added, “We are so grateful to be one of them.”
