PETA is distancing themselves from the woman who opened fire at the YouTube headquarters and injured three employees before killing herself.
A rep for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals tells The Blast Nasim Aghdam “Appeared at a few demonstrations about 9 years ago, but changed her phone number and dropped out of sight.”
38-year-old Aghdam was photographed in 2009 attending a PETA protest in San Diego denouncing the use of pigs in military-trauma training.
As we reported, she had ranted on her YouTube channel against the company claiming they were censoring her videos, which appeared to focus on animal rights and being a vegan. Aghdam also seemed to hold a grudge over her account had being de-monetized.
