Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Artist Behind “She Knew” posters is just bitter right winger

So remember the posters we mentioned yesterday popping up around LA?  Or Meryl Streep and the words “She Knew” over her her eyes? The implication that she was aware that Harvey Weinstein was forcing himself on women for decades in Hollywood?  Well the artist is revealed.

He’s a right-wing artist, a former U.S. marine who goes by the name Sabo and before you think I’m just shutting him down b/c he’s right wing, get the facts.  Sabo told The Guardian it was he and two collaborators that came up with the idea as retaliation for Streep using her forthcoming film, “The Post,” to bash President Donald Trump.

“She’s swiping at us so we’re swiping back,” Sabo told the British publication.  So in other words, you just want to hurt Meryl. You don’t care about the subject.

He also said he didn’t know if Streep enabled Harvey Weinstein‘s actions — something she has adamantly denied.

“I wasn’t sitting in a room with her. I can’t say 100 percent,” he said. “But I’d say anyone in the (film) industry had a pretty good idea. I think she knew. Maybe she was providing Weinstein with the fresh meat.”  Wait wait… you say you don’t actually know if she knew anything but then go on to make the harshest accusation levelled against a person in this case so far???

So clearly this is just some butt hurt republican who is barking out of a corner because they can’t dispute the actual facts of the film that upset them.

  • Hahahahahaha this is great. F*** Meryle Streep. She blasted Trump for being a sexual harasser and look who she poses in picture with all smiley and happy. What a hypocrite. So if all of these starts are telling the truth about Harvey, it’s safe to assume she was hit on or harassed and she kept her mouth shut because it benefited her career. This is great.
