Ever since her terrifying robbery in Paris last month, Kim Kardashian has (perhaps rather surprisingly) been keeping an incredibly low profile both where the paparazzi are concerned and especially on social media. While her sisters certainly haven’t learned anything about privacy and advertising their wealth online, Kim’s usually booming Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts have been stark silent since the event while she recovers from the traumatic event. That is, until now.
Kim posted the above photo (or rather, it’s likely one of her handlers/PR people did) to her Facebook page on Monday — a clear advertisement for those Lumee phone cases the Kardashians are always advertising. She’s noticeably stripped down from her usual layers of makeup and blinged out jewelry to show a subtler side of Kim. Everyone’s been saying for a while now (you know, those blessed “sources”) that Kim’s whole outlook on life has changed and she’s into the simpler things now. While I highly doubt that’s the case — after all, her entire brand is based on her wealth and exposure of that wealth — no one deserves to be robbed and to go through such a terrible ordeal and it must be really hard to get over the fear that experience instilled in her.
Anyhoo, how long until Kimmycakes is back on social media full time? I give it another two weeks until she can no longer resist.
