The property formerly known as Spelling Manor (and still is, by most) was purchased back 2011 by Londoner Petra Ecclestone for a cool $85 million. Which was a far cry from the $150 million Candy Spelling was asking for. But no one expected her to get that and no one expects Petra to get the $200m she’s asking for. It’s a marketing strategy to garner attention and headlines.
With that said, this is A LOT of house. It’s really more of a small mall. Bowling alleys, game rooms, hair salon and multiple kitchens and dining rooms spread out over 56,000 square feet of living space. It’s madness.
The other thing that was fun was seeing how Petra changed the house to suit her dark and pop style. It’s something to behold.
