Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have been together for about 800 years, but they still haven’t gotten any closer to tying the knot. While I actually think this is pretty smart of them both — Hollywood relationships rarely last, and they gotta protect their money because neither of them are life-long millionaires unless they play it super safe — people are nuts about these two getting engaged. Valentine’s Day was rife for the rumor mill, especially since Demi Instagrammed a pic of her wearing a ring. Never mind that it wasn’t even on the right hand and she expressly said in the caption that she’s not engaged. Reading skills not required to use Instagram, obviously.
Frankly, I think they should just stay together for as long as it works and then leave it at that. They do seem well-matched, and in Hollywood terms, they’ve been together FOREVER, so they’re doing pretty well. But cool it with the engagement/marriage talk, people. Demi Lovato is a free butterfly and must be allowed to float freely around the world making us smile… or something. Whatever, just go with it. She’s not getting engaged, and Wilmer doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to pop the question anyway, so whatever!
