Jennifer Lawrence & Amy Schumer’s New Movie Sounds Amazing

I was pretty excited when I heard that Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer were writing a movie together a few months ago. We didn’t know anything about it, but just imagining the insanity that those two could concoct together was enough for me. We finally have a few more details on the project, and yeah, I’m still feeling this 100%.

Schumer recently said the script is “funny,” “dirty,” and “real,” and Lawrence confirms to ET, “Yep! It’s is all of those things.”

So what’s it actually about? And who will play the wilder sister?

“Amy, in this movie, she has it very together. It’s her lifelong dream to be a flight attendant. She works at the airport,” Lawrence reveals. “And I’m a MESS.”

Of their highly publicized friendship-turned-writing partnership, Lawrence says it feels “very cosmic.” “I watched Trainwreck and I was like, ‘Yep, we’re made for each other,’” she recalls.

“I reached out and everything just happened so quickly,” Lawrence explains. “We both have very similar senses of humor, obviously and aren’t afraid, which is a good and bad thing, because I don’t know what our movie will be rated. And we’re both very blunt. So we’ve gotten through a really strenuous process without ever fighting, because we’re both very straightforward.”

This is by far the BEST Hollywood friendship. Screw Taylor Swift’s trail of tour guest stars, JLaw and ASchu are where it’s at. This movie is going to be amazing and they need to hurry their asses up and get it out.

Ugh, how lovely. These two frauds can’t leave quick enough for my tastes. Not one of their contributions to this crapfest experiment has ever been wanted or asked for.
