I feel like it’s been forever since we’ve reported anything on Lucy Liu — and in fact it was all the way back in 2013, when she started dating some billionaire (who I don’t think is still in her life). Now we have some big news in the Liu department, though: she’s welcomed a son! Lucy revealed her first child, Rockwell Lloyd Liu, who was born via a gestational carrier, on Instagram on Thursday, as you do.
The actress “is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier,” Liu’s rep confirms to PEOPLE. “Mom and baby are healthy and happy.”
Cute! I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m a big fan of Lucy’s, but I don’t have a problem with her. She seems genuinely nice. In fact, one time she was filming a movie in my old neighbourhood in Brooklyn and she used to stand outside her trailer (which was parked right outside my apartment building) with her adorable little dog, just chillin’ and being totally low key. That’s literally the only Lucy Liu story I have, but I’m sure that’s enough.
Congrats, Lucy. Babies are cute, especially because they’re not mine! Enjoy motherhood!
