Britney Spears has been performing at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for a little over a year now, and she’s been making major bank from the arrangement. It’s perfect since generally the audience is too drunk to notice/care that she lip syncs everything since she doesn’t have a voice, and she performs the hits so they all leave happy. But it seems like this joyful time might be coming to an end, and Britney’s admitted that she’s considered leaving her Vegas days behind.

“I’m not really sure,” Spears said. “I haven’t made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It’s a lot, a lot of fun but I’m kind of torn right now. I don’t really know what I want to do.”
If she doesn’t strike a new deal, her last performances of Britney: Piece of Me will take place later this month through October with finals shows happening over New Year’s Weekend. Brit marked her 100th show on Friday night.
As I previously reported, a new contract is currently on the table.
Spears has been in the studio working on new music. “We’re having fun right now,” she said. “I’m working with some women who are amazing writers. I have ballads and, of course, dance music—fun cheeky sexy stuff.”
I’m interested to know why she doesn’t want to do it anymore. It seems like a pretty cushy deal. She can raise her kids in a relatively stable environment (as in, they’re not touring the country and can stay in one place) and she doesn’t actually have to sing but she’s still making major money. I suppose if you’re not into gambling and all that, it’s not that great of a place to live long-term, but I’m just curious about what she’d rather do instead that’s going to be as lucrative. Her days of making massive hits have kind of passed, so hmm…
Isn’t that decision one daddy makes? And if it is, the mealticket ain’t going anywhere.
If she doesn’t want to do it anymore Would money really be a problem for her going forward? I doubt it.
