A new lawsuit was filed against Nick Gordon on Friday, alleging that he gave Bobbi Kristina Brown a “toxic cocktail” of drugs that ultimately led to the 22-year-old’s death late last month. Nick has been in the firing line for a while now, and much of Bobbi’s family believes that Nick was abusive and a thief, robbing her of thousands of dollars and basically being a total jerk. But did he have a hand in Bobbi’s death? That’s what the lawsuit’s claiming and what a judge will have to determine.

Here’s a statement from the conservator of Bobbi’s estate, Bedelia Hargrove:

“I am deeply saddened by the recent death of Bobbi Kristina Brown,” Hargrove said in a statement shared with Us Weekly. “I have filed today an amended complaint against Nicholas Gordon adding a count of wrongful death and for pain and suffering. We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown.”

The amended lawsuit filed on behalf of Bobbi Kristina alleges Gordon, 25, of “being out all night on a cocaine and drinking binge,” and giving Bobbi Kristina a “toxic cocktail.” According to the amended lawsuit, the concoction left her “unconscious,” and he “then put her face down in a tub of cold water, causing her to suffer brain damage.”

Gordon allegedly physically beat his girlfriend, accused her of cheating, and called her a “whore and bitch.”

The document also alleges that after placing her underwater, Brown then changed his clothes and “afterward he got in bed, and laid his head on a female guest’s ankle and stated, ‘Now I want a pretty little white girl like you.’”

Fifteen minutes later, an unidentified person reportedly found Bobbi Kristina in the bathtub with “a dust pan…in the bottom of the bathtub.” According to the lawsuit, she was unconscious, her mouth was swollen, and she had teeth hanging loosely from her mouth reportedly from Gordon’s punches.

I thought the coroner’s autopsy showed no signs of any foul play or abuse, or is there something I’m missing? I don’t for one second doubt that he was abusive, but I don’t think there have been any solidified reports of physical abuse at the time she was found, right?

It’s a touchy subject when it comes to determining whether or not someone had a hand in someone else’s death, especially when drugs are involved. After all, Bobbi was an adult who presumably took drugs of her own free will. Is there a moral responsibility Nick Gordon would have if he was the one who supplied those drugs? Sure, of course. Is there a legal one? That’s a whole other matter.
