Raise your hand if you saw this one coming! Former One Direction member and future solo superstar (LOL) Zayn Malik apparently ended his engagement to longtime girlfriend and Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards several weeks ago, it was revealed on Tuesday.

The former One Direction singer has left the Little Mix star completely ‘devastated’ after calling off their engagement just four months after he quit One Direction to ‘save their relationship’.
A source told MailOnline: ‘Perrie is absolutely devastated. Zayn called off the engagement two weeks ago, she’s so upset.’
Perrie’s bandmates are said to be providing a much needed shoulder to lean on, with a source telling PEOPLE: ‘Perrie’s being supported by her bandmates, but she’s really in pieces about this.’
Yeah, big shocker there that this marriage isn’t going through – and thank god for that! They’ve been engaged since early 2013, when they were both about 19, but it was never really going to work out. Zayn has been caught cheating on several occasions, most recently earlier this year (the incident that led him to quit the band). I guess he decided the fame and money and women throwing themselves at him was more important than his relationship, and in a way, it’s probably the nicest thing he’s ever done for Perrie. Set homegirl free, she doesn’t need that shit.
