Andi Dorfman joins the ranks of many other Bachelorettes who have broken off engagements. Hey who here is surprised? I’m not. I’m more surprised that Des and Chris are still together, TBH. Yes, I am a Bachelor nut.
SO anyway, Andi Dorfman was engaged to Josh Murray. They were together for 5 months before they were like, “k, byyyyyeeeeee.” And TMZ points out that just a handful of days ago, they went to The Bachelor live premiere show all smiles, though they did evade Chris Harrison’s questions about marriage. Here’s more from TMZ:
It’s pretty weird and pretty sudden. Three days ago they were on the red carpet for the Season 19 premiere of “The Bachelor.” Chris Harrison asked them, “So when’s the wedding?” He said there were no immediate plans as Andi rubbed his back.
The former couple got engaged after appearing on the show last year.
Andi and Josh, through the rep, tell TMZ, “After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways. We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what’s best for both of us individually.”
Personally, I think this went sour because she’s way too Alpha and so is he. They probably couldn’t agree on anything because of their egos. I’m sorry, but I don’t think Andi is as sweet as Bachelor nation wants us to believe. She seems really controlling and egomaniacal.
Even Josh’s mom is kind of psyched about this breakup. Us reports that she called it, “a wise decision”, adding,
I’m happy they figured this out before getting married & having kids.
And then babbled something about the lord having “better plans” for them.
Bachelor Biceps and his lady are married, so hey, sometimes it works out. This just wasn’t one of those times.
