Well, here’s a casting I didn’t see coming. Rosie Perez, who infamously called Jennifer Lopez a “ghetto biatch” (and starred in many an iconic movie, of course) is headed to The View as one of the new panelists this fall. Nicolle Wallace is going, too, but I have no idea who she is, so I’m ignoring that.

“Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace round out the panel officially joining moderator Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell next season,” ABC confirmed in a statement to Us Weekly on Sept. 3. ABC adds the new season will be “unlike any in recent history” and premieres live on Monday, Sept. 15.
“These are powerful and accomplished women from different walks of life who have had amazing personal and professional experiences. Each brings incredible perspective and information to the table,” executive producer Bill Wolff adds. “This mix of smart, vibrant and energetic women is unlike anything else on daytime television.”
Huh. Well, I doubt anyone will be watching it still because The View is stale as shit, but nice try. Also, Nicolle Wallace is apparently a conservative political commentator, so that should be great… not. I get that the point of bringing conservatives on the panel is to stir up tension and discussion, but they’re always spilling some hateful bullshit and I just don’t have time for it.
I bet Rosie will be hilarious, though.
