You’d think Katy Perry was 10 years younger than she actually is, but I assure you, she is indeed about to turn 30 come October. Still, this seemed as good a time as any for her to get her nose pierced, I suppose, and she posted a video of the experience on Instagram this weekend for all to see.

Katy also offered an apology to her mom, who was no doubt doing the sign of the cross and praying for her salvation (as she’s been doing since 2007 or whatever year Katy released ‘I Kissed a Girl’, lolz).
Last time I did this I was on my own with a safety pin & cube of ice @ 13. This time I thought it was best I left it to the pro’s. Sorry mom (again)
Nose piercings are alright – I had mine done (and my labret) when I was about 18, but I got rid of them a few years later. Katy’s blossoming a bit late in life, but let’s let her follow her path to self-discovery.
