The View recently cleaned house, firing Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd and retiring Barbara Walters. That leaves only Whoopi Goldberg at the table, and she needs some ladies to talk to. Now it’s official: Rosie O’Donnell will be one of them… again.

Rosie O’Donnell has made her deal with “The View” … sources connected with the negotiations tell TMZ.
We’re told the show will make the announcement shortly.
TMZ broke the story … the negotiations fired up a few days ago and the deal was almost completed by end of business day Monday.
The deal is now complete. Rosie will join Whoopi Goldberg on the show. As we reported, producers are also looking for a Latina and a conservative. Two conservative candidates who are being scoped are Abby Huntsman and Margaret Hoover.
Rosie is a loud mouth and I love her for it. Especially since it means she will be antagonizing the conservatives (which is what I do with you all – out of love, of course) and might bring a bit of life back to that crypt of a show. Then again, I haven’t watched The View in at least 10 years, so…
