Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have been hot and heavy for a while now – what, like a year or more? – and that means there’s one thing we all MUST know: Will they tie the knot? Sure, Charlize is pretty stoked on remaining officially single (read: unmarried), but according to some people, she can’t wait to walk down the aisle with Sean ASAP.

A proposal may be in the works! Charlize Theron and boyfriend Sean Penn are ready to wed, a source reveals to Us Weekly. The couple, who’ve been dating for eight months, are already talking about children, too.
“They absolutely want to get married,” a Penn confidant tells Us. Another adds: “They want to grow their family.”
Well, that’s… interesting. I’m going to call complete bullshit on this, especially considering how recently Charlize pointed out how happy she is WITHOUT being married. That doesn’t mean her relationship with Sean isn’t strong, it just means she doesn’t feel the need to have a piece of paper to say it.
Then again, who knows – maybe she’ll change her mind and they will get married. Life is weird that way.
