Scary news for Tina Turner – she is apparently recovering from a stroke she suffered earlier this year and is doing well now, though it was slow going for a long time. She tried to conceal her health troubles from the public (even Oprah Winfrey claimed that she was only suffering from the flu), and is still denying the reports, though everything points to them being true.

Tina Turner is recovering after suffering a stroke, several German and Dutch publications are reporting.
The rock and roll legend reportedly is now improving and her driver, Albert, is quoted as saying, “She had a minor stroke but is well on the way to recovery. Tina had to cancel her holiday to recover, she has already managed a smile for her partner Erwin Bach.”
Tina’s been living in Switzerland with Bach for a few years now, so I suppose in that sense it’s saved her from the prying eyes of the American media if it indeed happened. However, as her rep told the Daily Mail:
Turner’s spokesperson has blasted the claims, and assured the rumours are ‘not true’, adding to MailOnline: ‘Tina is in great health.’

Turner’s representative has stated that the star never planned a holiday to Carinthia, which she is said to have cancelled, and has never had a driver called Albert B.
So, who knows? What we do know is that she was out in Zurich on Thursday night and looked great and seemed to be in good health (see above photo), so either way, here’s hoping her health is on the up and up. Tina Turner’s a legend!
