Nothing says pure class like your mom wearing a wedding dress to YOUR wedding, right? Good, because that’s exactly what Lynn Spears, mother of Jamie Lynn and Britney, did last Friday when Jamie Lynn tied the knot with fiancé (and now husband) Jamie Watson.
Baton Rouge company I Do Bridal posted the photo on their Instagram page with the following caption:
“It’s official ya’ll! @jamielynnspears is now Mrs. James Watson! We are so happy to have been part of this celebration of love. The beautiful bride, Mrs. Lynne and sweet Maddie all wore custom gowns by @liancarlodesign. More pics to come! Xo.”
Also, BritBrit was there! I’m assuming she went with something that did not look like a wedding dress – here’s hoping, anyway.

But seriously, what the hell is up with Lynn? If I was Jamie Lynn, I’d have been so embarrassed. Hell, I’m not Jamie Lynn and I’m STILL embarrassed on her behalf. Not cool, Mom.
Also also, there’s a lot of “Lynn(e)”s in that family and I just had one of those things where I just looked at the word so long that now it doesn’t seem like a real world anymore.
