Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have been engaged since 2011 but have never actually gone through with a wedding. That might’ve been a good decision, since rumours have been flying lately that the pair have broken up. Kate seems to have perpetuated those reports lately by turning up to the Oscars on Sunday night without her engagement ring.
E Online! thinks they have the scoop:
Five days earlier, at BVLGARI’s Decades of Glamour event, Hudson also ditched her diamond sparkler. The ring removal comes amid widespread speculation that her relationship with Matthew Bellamy is on the rocks. “They are OK. They go through their ups and downs like every other couple,” a source told E! News. “It’s true that occasionally they don’t spend as much time together as they would like—work pulls them apart from time to time. But they are working on strengthening their relationship.”
So, are they together or aren’t they? And does anyone actually care? Kate Hudson hasn’t been doing much of anything lately and Muse sucks (unpopular opinion, but deal with it), so I don’t think it’s all eyes on this celebrity couple or anything. They do have a 2-year-old son called Bingham together, so there’s that.
