Well, isn’t Zoe Saldana sneaky? She went off and married boyfriend Marco Perego and none of us even knew it. In fact, she’s so sneaky that it didn’t even happen recently – the pair actually tied the knot earlier this year. There were rumours floating around over the summer that a ceremony had taken place, but Zoe never responded to any of them. Turns out, they were true, and she finally confirmed that on Jimmy Kimmel‘s show on Tuesday night.
Here’s how the exchange went down (via DS):
“Congratulations! You got married since the last time I saw you,” host Kimmel said.
“I did,” Saldana replied. “And congratulations to you, too. You got married.”Kimmel – who married Molly McNearney earlier this year – responded: “Thank you. It’s not a competition, though. We don’t need to just go around getting married.”
He then asked where Saldana got married, to which she replied: “I got married in England. I did it in England. Can you top that?”
Now, Zoe and Marco weren’t even spotted together for the first time until May, so this was a quick turnaround, that’s for sure. That’s not to say it won’t work, but who can say? Maybe the secret is in the fact that she’s kept the relationship quiet and private. All the problems seem to start when couples hit the spotlight together.

People “broke” it in the sense that they too speculated she’d got married. This was the first time Zoe has publicly spoken about it/confirmed it.
