Don’t you just love New Girl? Well into its third season now, it’s really turned into a legit hilarious and clever show with great characters. Plus, hello, Zooey Deschanel is the cutest. Her embodiment of Jess really takes the show to the next level and it’s worked out really well.
Well, now Jess is due to get a new love interest on the show (JUST HOOK UP WITH NICK, YOU ARE MEANT TO BE) in the form of Taye Diggs, who will be a guy named Artie in the seventh episode. Considering his stint spans all of one episode, I doubt that’s going to work out.

And New Girl fans, take note: The episode in question also heralds the return of Damon Wayans Jr. The Happy Endings star, who played Coach in the pilot episode, kicks off a multi-episode arc at the same time.
Fair enough. Also, thank god Damon Wayans Jr is coming back. Ever since Happy Endings was canceled well, WELL before its time, I was hoping we’d get to see him back on TV. But seriously, I really miss Happy Endings.

Ah…and Jess and Nick are finally hooking up but with their combined weirdness…that relationship won’t be easy.
Right?! They did hook up by the final episode of series 2. I hope it works out.
I miss Happy Endings soooo much. I had such high hopes that it would be picked up like Cougar Town.
