I’m actually doing myself a disservice by acting like I don’t know who George Shelley from British boyband Union J actually is, because I do. The group was manufactured on The X Factor UK last year, and even though they were shit and didn’t win, Simon signed them because he wants to make more money off of silly adolescent girls who will listen to anything so long as a totez kewt boi is singing it. Okay so they’re not TOTALLY shit, but one One Direction is one too many, you know?
Anyhoo, that’s neither here nor there. What is definitely HERE is that Selena Gomez apparently spent the night with George (who – gossip time! – was previously linked to Ella Henderson, a singer from the same season who SHOULD have won but didn’t for some reason) after they ~connected~ during Selena’s gig in Portugal.
According to The Sun (so, you know, giant grain of salt), Selena he invited the whole band back to her hotel room in Lisbon to party after her show and she and George got “heated”, LOL, and were “all over each other”… so much so that he missed his flight back to London the next morning and arrived separately from the rest of the group.
Oh, snap! Well, Selena has always said that if you want it, you should come and get it, na-na-na-na, right? I guess he did just that – after all, confidence is sexy, right? Obviously if this did happen it’s nothing more than a fling, but whatever. In the words of another boyband, these kids should just “have fun… and live while [they]’re young”… or something. Okay, I’m going now.
Oh, but one more thing… say what you will about George looking like a porcelain doll/not like a real human, but ANYTHING is better than Bieber.
Ella should have won! Her performance was incredible!
