Do you guys remember Laurie, Eric Foreman’s older sister on That ’70s Show? She was played by actress Lisa Robin Kelly, who passed away in her sleep on Wednesday night at a rehab facility in California. The exact cause of death is currently unknown.
Here’s a statement from her agent, Craig Wyckoff:
“Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years.
“I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. [Wednesday] night she lost the battle. Cause of death has not been issued yet and no death certificate has been issued either.”
Of course, the cause of her death was most likely closely tied to her addiction or the effects that long-term substance abuse had on her body. Lisa was 43.
