Alright, so Simon Cowell hasn’t confirmed the fact that he knocked up his friend’s woman, socialite Lauren Silverman, but he also hasn’t denied it and basically said he’ll make an official statement later… maybe when her baby bump’s too big to hide? Here’s what he had to say at the TCA press tour on Thursday (via DS):
Cowell joked: “I haven’t read the newspapers, did I miss anything?”
The X Factor judge added that he wants to keep his personal life “private”, saying: “It’s just one of those things.”
And here’s what he later told People:
“There are a lot of things I will eventually clear up when the time is right, but I really have to be sensitive because there’s a lot of people’s feelings involved here.”
Yeah, like your friend whose woman you fucked and got pregnant? Talk about doing someone dirty! In any case, as I said yesterday, I can’t see him with his own baby but he does have a soft spot for kids, so he’ll probably be great with one. Plus, that kid will definitely have it made.
