In a story that would almost be too ridiculous to believe if it were about anyone else besides Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, it’s been reported that the pair decided to name their daughter North instead of, I dunno, Knorth or another K-name, in order to avoid KKK jokes. Because, you know, those are so plentiful. This could totally be utter bullshit, but we are talking about the couple who spent $750,000 on gold-plated shit bowls.
In a new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians filmed before Kim gave birth, she said the following (via DS because I don’t watch that shit anymore):
She explained that if she, West and their daughter all had the initial K then it could attract distasteful jokes.
“Our kid, if it’s a K, then they’ll call us the KKK,” she told sister Kourtney and stepbrother Brody Jenner.
Jenner described her concern as a “little crazy”. Meanwhile, Kourtney described North West as a “pretty and cool” name.
That’s seriously the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. People are idiots so I’m sure SOMEONE out there would make that joke, but people say stupid shit every day. As if this would really affect them? Clearly I just don’t ~understand~ the difficulties of Kim and Kanye’s existence, but I seriously wonder if they both have any brain power left (particularly Kim).
So they give the kid North to avoid jokes. Are these people sane.
so it was either a k-name or north west? are they somehow banned from using one of the bazillion normal names this world has to offer? cheeses..
Too bad both of the parents are jokes as people.
