Admittedly, all you’d have to say is “space drama” and I’m there, so Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity already had me on its side. George Clooney and Sandra Bullock are the stars and they’re both inoffensive enough and can be pretty great in the right medium, so they’ve still got me on that. Now, a single take trailer has been released and I am SO on board (no pun intended). I’m seriously about to go buy tickets now even though that’s not even possible yet because it doesn’t come out until October. In less than two minutes, that shit managed to get me all kinds of anxious and interested, so the whole movie is probably gonna be BOMB.
Gravity is about two astronauts (Clooney and Bullock, duh) who are trying to get back to Earth after their ship is hit by debris (which the trailer starts to show). I’m so into it – this kinda stuff is right up my street. The movie’s premiering at the Venice Film Festival on August 28, but the best part is that when it’s actually released in theatres, you can see it in 2D, 3D or IMAX. Yessssss.
What do you think – will you see this?
