Mariah Carey dislocated her shoulder during a video shoot a couple weeks ago and has since been bringing glamour to all of our lives during her performances with the donning of many a bejeweled and sequined arm slings. However, turns out it’s not all just fun and games – the injury left her with some nerve damage, making it hard to regain movement in her arm. She also cracked a few ribs so she’s in a bit of a state at the moment. :(
Here’s what Nick Cannon had to tell TooFab about his wife’s condition:
toofab: You wife Mariah just dislocated her shoulder, how is she doing after that?
Cannon: She’s doing a lot better, but she still doesn’t have movement in her right arm, there’s nerve damage. Her shoulder is definitely a lot better, back in place, but she also had some cracked ribs. She can’t move. The fact that she doesn’t have use of her right arm right now has been pretty tough on her, but the doctor said with a lot more rest and relaxation she’ll be fine.
Damn, that’s a pretty serious injury. I’m sure it’s even less fun since she has twin toddlers to take care of. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery!
