Stop me if you’ve heard this one before (because I feel like I have), but Emma Watson was really to throw in the ole acting towel after production ended on the final Harry Potter film a couple of years back. Basically, she’d grown up on camera and wanted to take a break and figure out who she was and if this is something she could actually see herself doing long-term. The answer was obviously yes (for now), but let’s let Emma tell us.

“It’s funny because people are probably playing the films somewhere right now but for me it happened three or four years ago,” she said.
“I basically took two years out and stepped as far away from it as I could – I mean, the Harry Potter films were still coming out – but I took time to really try and figure out who I was and what I wanted to do. I even considered not being an actress.”
