6Well That Was Fast: “Ready To Love” Cancelled

Eva Longoria‘s dating show, Ready To Love, hosted by Giuliana and Bill Rancic, has been cancelled. I think we can all figure out why. Show of hands:

1. Who knew that Eva Longoria was involved in this?
2. Who knew what this show was even about?
3. Who watched this?

It was cancelled after 2 episodes. lol. Also NBC isn’t sure if it’s even worth airing the remaining episodes. Another lol. The Bachelor it is not. From Natmonitor.com:

Reality TV World reports that Longoria’s show was cancelled because of poor ratings. “Ready for Love” did horribly when it premiered on April 10. The dating show average only 3.85 million viewers during its two-hour debut. Unfortunately, the second episode performed even worse, averaging only 3.37 million viewers.

“Ready for Love” was hosted by Giuliana Rancic and Bill Rancic and was widely expected to do better than it did because it had “The Voice” as a lead-in.

The show was about finding a date for three bachelors by utilizing the skills of three professional matchmakers to locate the perfect dates for each bachelor.

Prior to the show airing on TV, Longoria remarked to NBC that the show was an attempt to replicate some of the techniques that people use today to find a date, such as joining Internet dating sites. She noted at the time that she hoped people would be inspired by the show to go out in search of their perfect match.

So now I ask you, Evil Beeters, did any of you out there watch this? Again, no jugement from me, I watch Splash. Voluntarily.

I have a weird soft-spot for Guiliana Rancic (although her name is a bitch to spell), so I feel a bit bad that she hosted this. But really, this sounds like a terrible show. And I’m the one person who still watches Glee, so I know terrible.

(Also, the new layout is looking super-cute – I love the background!)

Goodness, it took me maybe 3 tries to spell her name! Glad it’s not just me. And yay, we’re so chuffed you like the new layout!

First of all, who told you Guiliana R#$%@c would be a good host for a TV show like this. Even worst idea bringing her other “reality” husband also. They could be married but it was not chemistry there so there you go…doomed from the beginning. Guiliana is very annoying and totally confused me all the time while watching the show. The format was also very confusing, with all these people involved and 3 bachelors, hundred of girls, from the past, etc, etc, very confusing but…i dont wanna see Guiliana in another show ever again..

The show was confusing I think if they had stuck to one bachelor at a time it would have had a little more impact.
