I really don’t get what’s up with the stars all having seizures lately. First Kelly Osbourne collapses, then Lil Wayne has a Sizzurp meltdown and now Tone Loc – of ‘Funky Cold Medina’ fame, in case you forgot – has suffered a seizure during a gig in Iowa. It’s uncertain what his condition is now, but what the hell?

According to various reports, Loc had finished a song during his show in Des Moines, IA when he collapsed. The Des Moines Register says Loc was attended to for five minutes on stage before the audience was asked to leave.
It is unclear what his condition is now.
This isn’t the first time Loc has taken a nose-dive mid-concert. In 2009 he was rushed to a Florida hospital after collapsing on stage and in 2011 he was hospitalized in Atlanta for exhaustion after another mid-rap fall.
Then in June 2012 he collapsed on stage from his manager said was heat exhaustion. And in August 2012 he suffered from an apparent seizure while watching a comedy show. His manager attributed that episode to food poisoning.
Loc once told police who suspected him of DUI that he simply had a seizure behind the wheel.
Damn, Tone. That’s pretty crazy. Obviously he has some kind of condition, but what’s up with the others? It all seems bizarrely coincidental that there are so many reports of celebrity seizures lately, but there couldn’t really be any kind of connection unless they were all using the same dealer or something – beyond that, epilepsy must be becoming pretty widespread. Here’s hoping he recovers soon.
Maybe someone slipped him some funky cold medina – honestly how did a song about what basically amounts to slipping girls a date rape drug get so big??? Alas, I digress…
