Lil Wayne was rushed Los Angeles hospital again after experiencing what’s said to be “multiple seizures”, a follow-up to the convulsions he had last fall (after which he was put on medication for the condition). TMZ reports that he’s been released and is now okay, but damn.
Sources close to the rapper tell us, Wayne suffered the seizures Tuesday night after shooting a music video in L.A. and was subsequently taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Weezy was released several hours later, early Wednesday morning. We’re told he’s doing much better now.
It’s not the rapper’s first encounter with seizures either — TMZ broke the story … Wayne suffered two seizures on board separate airplanes last October.
Lil Wayne later acknowledged he’d been prescribed seizure medication by his doc.
What’s with the stars and seizures lately? I hate to link that shit to drug use, but between him and Kelly Osbourne, it wouldn’t be unheard of. Regardless of the cause, here’s hoping everyone stops having seizures soon and gets well again.
His Medical MJ card would be totally legit – since it’s anti-seizure. :)
