I loved The Hunger Games book trilogy, and while I thought the movie was only good rather than great (as most big screen adaptations of books tend to be, unfortunately), I’m pretty pumped for the second installment, Catching Fire, that’s due to hit theatres in November. Plus, the visual effects, costumes and make-up are fantastic, which makes the artwork/promotional posters a lot of fun to look at. It’s stunning how often “catching fire” or “on fire” has been used in the media to describe politics or whatever. I’m too distracted by the over use of the phrase to comment on the movie.
actually “catching fire” has a revolutionary kind of meaning in the books it has to do with politics and a new figure rising to change how things are, so it has a conection with what you said.

You know what? I’ve never seen a picture of Jennifer Lawrence where one make-up artist has been able to do a good job on her, especially her eyes.
this is the only time, where i thought the movies were just as good or better than the books :O
Aaaahhhhhh I’m SO excited, The Hunger Games is my favourite book trilogy. The film was good, not as good as the book, we’ll see what happens with the change of director. Really liking the new costume designer. :’)
