LeAnn Rimes is Real Nervous About Eddie’s Cheating

In an(other) exclusive interview with ET Online, guess what LeAnn talked about? Wait, no—don’t guess, because really. You probably already know. You guys are a pretty intuitive bunch, and what do many of us do best? I’ll also fill you in on that one: we talk about LeAnn Rimes talking about cheating, because that’s all part of the deal, it looks.

In the interview, LeAnn says that her songwriting before, during, and after the affair was more of an evolution than anything:

“What Have I Done is one of the first songs that I wrote for the record, before anything was actually starting to happen. It was written about a friend of mine, but I didn’t realize I was writing it for myself at the time… It was my subconscious talking and I didn’t know yet.”

Now, to break it down, ‘What Have I Done’ is basically a song about a lady who cheats with a guy and she’s really sorry to her boyfriend/husband/partner about it. Whether she wrote it for this “friend” or not, there’s no “subconscious” speaking, because sure. It happened.

Next, she said that Eddie knew what the song was about before she, herself, even did:

“He actually heard the song when I wrote it and, actually, he knew what it was about before I did. He knew I was feeling feelings. I’m not sure what those were that he knew. … It’s a very complicated situation.”

Oh, OK. So, he knew that she was going to cheat on her husband with him before she even knew that she was going to cheat on her husband with him. What a stand-up guy.

Later, when asked if she worries if Eddie will cheat on her, she says:

“I would be ignorant to say, and everyone else would think I am a liar if I didn’t say yes, and I have at times. Speaking for him, I would actually say that’s creeped into his [mind]…I think we’ve been very honest and open with that to each other and our conversations about it have only made me understand how much he actually cares, as much as I do, about being faithful to each other.”

In conclusion, LeAnn claims that, at the end of the day, her personal situation is just that—her personal situation. That, and she doesn’t expect anyone to understand where she’s coming from, or hey—even where she’s been:

“I feel like there’s only about a handful of people that could understand where I’ve been through as a childhood star and now actually having a career after that. It’s hard to explain and I’m not asking for anyone’s sympathy. I think when you see all these things written about you and what people are speculating you want to go, ‘This is why’ and it’s just as simple and as complicated as I need to go learn how deal with myself and with the world because everyone is always looking in and I needed to figure out how to deal with it.”

What do you say, guys: feeling sorry for LeAnn Rimes yet? And if not, hell’s bells. What’s it going to take? Another six hundred interviews about Squints McBallsax and his ex-wife, Brandi? Come on. Have a heart already.

  • “He actually heard the song when I wrote it and, actually, he knew what it was about before I did. He knew I was feeling feelings. I’m not sure what those were that he knew. … It’s a very complicated situation.”

Leann is talking about Dean, not Eddie. Leann is throwing Dean under the bus. In other words it’s all Dean’s fault for not filing for the divorce the moment he realized that Leann was lusting after every aspect of Brandi’s life. If Dean knew that Leann was feeling feelings for Eddie, why then did he continue to make out with Leann in public?

  • Meh. She has nothing to worry about. If she loses Eddie, she can always go out and put a new husband on her American Express.

  • Leann isn’t worried about Eddie cheating on her, she is worried about his affairs with other women becoming a top headline.

Eddie wasn’t even worried when his new wife was arguing with people on twitter during their honeymoon, and Leann wants us to believe that Eddie is worried about Leann cheating on him? Eddie cheered Leann on when she made out with Lizzy during their “family vacation”, so Eddie doesn’t care if Leann cheats on him or not. If Eddie cares about being unfaithful to Leann, then why won’t Eddie go anywhere with Leann without Lizzy tagging along with them? If Eddie cared about being unfaithful to Leann, this interview with ET and Nancy wouldn’t even be necessary. Cheating creeps into Eddie’s mind because he is cheating on Leann and he only has these conversations about being unfaithful with Leann to financially blackmail Leann.

How does Leann go from telling her fans that Eddie only has eyes for her to now saying that he does indeed think about other women? How does Leann go from telling Katie that she isn’t worried about Eddie cheating or leaving her to now telling Nancy that she thinks about it all the time? So what happened to change Leann’s stance? Did she hire a PI to follow Eddie? Check his phone records? Did Eddie admit to Leann that he is still seeing Scheana?

How is doing biased exclusive interviews with ET!, E, Leno, Katie, 20/20, and Jimmy K learning to deal with herself? Everytime Leann does one of these interviews she adds on a deeper layer of “woe is me”. Now she is saying that she wanted to kill herself because of the backlash she faced due to her affair with Eddie. Who is advising Leann?

  • The ET interview gets even worse. People are saying that ET is airing part 2 of their interview with Leann tomorrow, where Leann discusses her sex life. Leann is having a meltdown. It makes one wonder, is Eddie still sleeping with Scheana?

  • Oh-oh I think the shit is about ready to hit the fan and I hope it hits her square in the face!! Grab some popcorn!!

  • Does she need sympathy from other people, or something? Does it actually matter whether we feel sorry for her? It’s not like she can undo any of her actions. Best thing for her to do is shut up about it already. She won, right?

  • Leann’s interview with ET is actually a 3 day thing, ET is airing part 3 tomorrow. Good thing Leann “made up” with her dad, his money is paying off “big time” for Leann! An exclusive interview with ET broken up into 3 days! Leann is living proof that ANY publicity isn’t always good publicity. The singles that she released in Nov & Dec are still doing poorly on Itunes and the radio. Sharon O, Leann’s BFF, told viewers that even she is fed up with Leann constantly putting her affair with Eddie on public display. Hopefully, Leann didn’t make her lawyer bully Sharon, like she tried to do when TMZ called her out on what she did on Xfactor.

Who is advising Leann? Even Rielle Hunter had enough common sense to shut up, lay low, and stop her book tour when she saw that her “Woe is me” campaign wasn’t making things worse for her. If Rielle Hunter figured out that she had to do something differently because her poor choices were negatively impacting her books sales, then what’s Leann’s problem? Leann is surrounded by WAY TOO MANY yes people who are either too afraid of Leann and her lawyer or too in love with what Leann’s dad is paying them to be nice to Leann to be honest with Leann.
