Absolutely love her…..and damn, Jennifer Lawrence kicked ass in Silver Linings Playbook. Oh, I second the kind words regarding Lawrence’s cheekbones, Jennifer is certainly lovely.

I’m with Meh on this one. I wish more celebrities talked about interesting stuff and take charge of the interviews instead of perpetuating the super boring and superficial culture of good looks and expensive possessions.

My resolution is very, very similar to hers, it’s actually eerie to read this. I want to say and do exactly what I mean in 2013, and stand up for what I believe regardless of the risk of displeasing people. Kudos, Jennifer!

I think she’s asked the questions; I hardly doubt she’s navigating the interview.

The fact that she comes off sane, secure and healthy about her body–well, I think that should be blasted in these celebrity and fashion magazines. First off, more healthy women need to be heard. Secondly, celebrity and fashion magazines discuss these things…the social, trivial (health isn’t trivial, but our obsessions with our bodies…well…) aspects of life. She’s merely keeping in line with what many of those readers go reading for.

You’re probably right about her getting asked those questions but all I know about the chick is that she talks about her body all the time. I wish she’d be like “yeah I have a body…so anyways, I was listening to this really great band last night…”. Just something else.

My guess is that she keeps on getting questions about her weight, sort of like Jennifer Aniston still gets asked about Brad Pitt, but she still doesn’t have the experience or the attitude to refuse to answer them. And I think she’s acted enough? Like Silver Linings Playbook was a dud but she was amazing, made Bradley Cooper look like amateur hour.
