You won’t regret it, if anything you’ll regret the time you spent mulling it over so much. It does hurt, but you forget the pain and then you have something beautiful on you forever. I have a big piece on my thigh and one across my back and I love them.

Emily go for it! I have 2 (and I’m done!), and yeah it hurts, but I’m a big wimp too and I survived. ;) Just make sure you have someone with you who can distract you and hold your hand and talk about random stuff :)

I thought about getting a tattoo for quite a bit before getting my first one. And even after deciding i’d absolutely get it, I spent like a year looking for a tattoo artist I liked. I went to art school for a couple of years before changing majors, so I’m a little picky and annoying when it comes to art.

I got the second one the moment I finished the design, didn’t give it that much thought and is my favorite one.

If you’re completely sure you want to get it, and have no doubts about the design, go ahead and do it. Just don’t get a tramp stamp or I don’t know, a unicorn horn on your forehead.
