After having my son, the “love rush” was incredible for the first few months. I’d have cut off my own arm with a steak knife if it meant my baby would be happy. It’s normal, as strange as that may sound, basically it is nature’s way of helping you bond with something that just tore open your body viciously.

Okay, so though I’m not changing my own kid’s diapers yet, and my opinion will probably change when I’m doing it ten times a day, I used to love changing my little brother’s and little cousins’ diapers when I was babysitting. I mean, I wouldn’t say I loved getting peed/pooped on, but I liked actually changing the diaper. Something about making them feel more comfortable, perhaps…
